The Windsor and Westmorland Hotel has just been taken over and is undergoing extensive redecoration to return the property to its former glory! Beautifully situated in North Shore on the select Queens Promenade, looking out over the Irish Sea, and just a short tram ride away from all the major attractions. The Hotel is comfortably furnished and is all about comfort and convenience.
Now under the personal supervision of Alan French (the unflappable former Manager of ‘Hotel on Sea’ fame BBC 1) With his years of Hotel experience and newly found television fame, Alan looks forward to entertaining his guests for a holiday or short break never to be forgotten!
Alan has 25 years experience in Hotel Management and was successful in negotiating the contract for the BBC to film the Hotel on Sea series, which was first shown in 2005 on BBC 1. In addition he was very proud to have won the Hotel of the Year 2004 Gold Award for his former Hotel at the prestigious Blackpool Tourism Annual awards. His hopes and aspirations for the Windsor/Westmorland are almost immeasurable and he is keen to impress and satisfy each and every guest, with this his very first solo venture.
